It could not have been a nicer day on Saturday, April 30 for the inaugural Seeds of Hope 5K. The
5K Run and 2 Mile Walk on the Airline Trail in East Hampton was held by the Congregational
Church of East Hampton in support of their Seeds of Hope mission. This project aids one of the
most impoverished communities in America, the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
The overall winner was Kevin McDonald of Norwich in 19:58 and the first female finisher was
Annalisa Paltauf of New Haven in 20:14.
